Best of Photo Vogue
“Caroline and Maddie” was selected as Best of Photo Vogue at the end of January. The photo was taken in early 2020 at the John Landovsky Tribute which was held in Leeward Theater in West Oahu. Mr. Landovsky was a teacher and mentor to many of the artistic directors who now own and operate ballet schools throughout Hawaii.
This photo is taken from the award-winning series “Ballet on Film.” The 3-year-long project followed a Honolulu ballet school from pre-pandemic performances, through lockdown and virtual classes, finally concluding at the school’s triumphant return to the stage for their 10-year anniversary performance.
